Janessa McCune is licensed to practice in the State of California and primarily practices in Sonoma and Mendocino Counties. She is a Settlement Conference panelist in Mendocino County and a member of the Sonoma County Bar Association. Ms. McCune has an extensive background in Domestic Violence work as she volunteered for Legal Aid of Sonoma County for two years assisting hundreds of people in the restraining order process. Ms. McCune graduated in the top 20% from Southwestern Law School in 2010. While at Southwestern, Ms. McCune was a member of Southwestern Journal of International Law for two years and served as a Special Projects and Research Editor during her third year. She was also a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program, a trial team that was coached by local assistant district attorneys, federal prosecutors, and notable Southwestern Alumni. Ms. McCune interned for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Sex Crimes Unit and interned for Los Angeles Superior Court Judge David S. Wesley.
When Ms. McCune is not practicing law, she enjoys seeking out the newest restaurants, making elaborate dinners, traveling to new places, reading novels, playing complex strategic board games, and playing with her two dogs.
